SuLe x Roots Funding "The New Wave of Entrepreneurship" Event in London

SuLe co-hosted The New Wave of Entrepreneurship, its first in-person event, in partnership with Roots Funding, bringing together founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders to explore how entrepreneurship is evolving in an increasingly complex business landscape.
Held at Barclays Innovation Hub powered by Eagle Labs in London, the event was designed to address the shifting realities faced by modern founders, including new regulatory requirements, the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, changing investor priorities, and evolving consumer behaviour. The evening combined practical insights with meaningful networking, creating a space for honest conversations about what it takes to adapt and thrive in today's environment.
The event featured a diverse panel of experienced speakers from across the startup, funding, and professional services ecosystem, including Abigail Foster, Chris Joannou, Diego Argüello Ron, Vivienne Hsu, Dr Dupe Burgess, Tony Margiotta, Sam Matanle, and Laura Fullerton. Panel discussions focused on topics such as funding readiness, operational resilience, future-focused growth strategies, and the importance of building strong foundations early.
In addition to interactive panel sessions, the event included a Founder Matchboard, designed to encourage meaningful connections between entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators. The format reflected SuLe's belief that strong businesses are built not only through tools and capital, but through access to the right conversations, people, and support networks.
The New Wave of Entrepreneurship event marked an important milestone for SuLe as it continues to expand its role beyond a legal tech platform into an active contributor within the UK startup ecosystem. SuLe is grateful to everyone who attended, shared insights, and helped make the evening a success, as well as to Roots Funding for their partnership and Barclays Innovation Hub powered by Eagle Labs for hosting the event.
Following the success of the event, SuLe looks forward to hosting more community-led initiatives that support founders at every stage of their journey.
